First Sunday of the month
Every first Sunday of the month, we offer free admission to the museum to the citizens of Postojna, Pivka, Cerknica and the Loka Valley. The permanent exhibition Karst Museum and New Premises, the Observation Depot and Lapidarium, the new exhibition Crime and Fruit and all children's corners are on display. You are invited to take a tour!

Beekeeping workshop (subscription for mulches, froce and crumbs)
Children between the ages of 6 and 11 are invited to the first workshop of the children's subscription Za mulce, froce and krumbs. Beekeeper and apothetherapist Janja Likar will introduce us to the world of bees, we will taste their products, and at the end we will make sweet souvenirs - honey lollipops. The price of the workshop is 10€/child, and the price of the entire subscription (5 workshops) is 30€/child. You are kindly invited!

The Way of the Old Believers (subscription to Museum Spancy)
On Saturday, 7.11.2026, we will go to the Karst with the participants of the Museum Spancir subscription, where the local tourist guide and collector of folk traditions, Boris Čok, will take us along the Path of the Old Believers. We meet at the Notranjska Museum, from where the bus takes us to the starting point of our route. The subscription is currently full, so we do not accept additional applications.

We invite you to the opening of a new temporary exhibition entitled One, Two, Three... Until Ten Neanderthal, by Dr. Slavko Polak. A press conference will be held at 11 a.m., the opening of the exhibition at 1 p.m., and a workshop for children at 5 p.m. Admission is free!
