It's Fun on the Road
As part of the project Na Prestranku ljuštno je je (On Prestranku Cute Is), we will visit a beekeeper who will introduce us to the basics of beekeeping, making honeycombs and a beehive. Project participants will be able to participate in the production and painting of hives.

Hunting tricks and habits
The PBZLD Education Commission and the Notranjska Museum Postojna invite you to a hunting cultural event, which will present a part of the living intangible heritage Call to Hunt. The following will participate: Javorniki Hunting Vocal Group, Brkinsko-kraški hornists, LD Črna jama with hunting roar, Gregor Češarek, Pavel Nared - deer roar imitator and prof.dr. Jernej Zupančič with a lecture on hunting tricks and habits. Admission is free.

Lecture on the basics of veterinary medicine
Mihaela Bizjak, veterinarian and chiropractor for dogs, will lecture us about what a healthy dog looks like, about its coat, skin, eyesight, about mandatory and recommended vaccinations, about various injuries, internal and external parasites, about nutrition and common diseases, sterilization and castration and much more.

First Sunday of the month
Every first Sunday of the month, we offer free admission to the museum to the citizens of Postojna, Pivka, Cerknica and the Loka Valley. On display are the permanent exhibition Museum of the Karst and New Premises, the depot and lapidarium, the new exhibition Crime and Fruit, and all children's corners. You are invited to take a look!

On Friday 24.4. . Italian pianist and composer Roberto Magris and Croatian alto saxophonist Denis Razumovič – Razz are coming to the Jazz Temple, who will present their quartet album In Action, which has received very good reviews from renowned jazz critics (AllAbout Jazz USA). The concert is dedicated to the celebration of International Jazz Day.

VDC Postojna - 21st MATP Regional Sports Games of the Primorje-Notranjska Region
At VDC Postojna, we believe that there are no limits, there are only challenges that we overcome together. This year, we had the special honour of organising the 21st International Women's Festival. Regional Games of the Special Olympics of Slovenia MATP Primorsko-notranjska region, which will take place on April 23, 2026. We meet in the gym of the Miroslav Vilhar Elementary School and together with our competitors we spread the slogan "Let me win, but if I can't win, let me be brave in my attempt".

Municipality celebrates: central celebration on the occasion of the municipal holiday
The Municipality of Postojna is celebrating!
The cultural programme of the central municipal ceremony will be co-designed by: the Folklore Group of the Anton Globočnik Elementary School, the Postojna Ballet Society, the Matic Marentič Duo, the Postojna Music 1808 and the Anton Globočnik Elementary School Choir. Mayor Igor Marentič will present municipal awards and titles, and after the celebration, at 8:00 p.m., we will open a painting exhibition by Darko Slavec in the small hall.

Pub quiz!
You are invited to an evening of fun questions, socializing and healthy competition, which has been taking place at the Postojna Youth Centre for the twelfth time.
Teams consist of 2 to 4 members, and the registration fee is €5 per person (which is less than two beers). There are ten cities, so don't wait for faster (and probably smarter) competition to overtake you.

The Brotherhood of the Blue Gull
A youth theatre performance co-produced by the Ptuj City Theatre and the Margareta Schwarzwald Institute.
Suitable for the 2nd and 3rd triad of primary schools.

A classic of youth literature, it will come to life in a theatrical image and address young people and adults. The play is based on the famous novel by Tone Seliškar, which has been one of the favourite adventure novels of Slovenian primary school students for decades.
